Decide 2 go there w my dd 2 explore explore.. We went there by shuttle bus juz opp my hse de bustop.. U may oso wana go Novena mrt de taxi stand or lavander mrt station 2 wait 4 d bus as well.. Nt reali too much of ppl @ there.. I guess it's b'cuz it's located those nt so residental places.. Bt it's a gd place 2 go datin/dinning.. Inside here gt many restaurant n fast food restaurant except gt no mos burger.. )=

Penang trip – 13th -15th Nov 2009

Finally there is sumtime for me 2 blog abt my penang trip w dd.. lol..

Day 1

1^st time taking flight

Actually tis is my 1^st time taking flight.. Initially I tot it would be scary n I might end up vomit.. Bt overall, it was steady n I feel comfortable w.. Like wat my bf’s sister say nwadaes d pilot driving reali veri gd n steady.. hee ^^

It took abt 1 hr plus to reach to penang international airport. Fr there, we hav 2 buy a taxi ticket b4 we proceed to go 2 our hotel: traders hotel. The traffic on tat dae was reali veri jam.. According to d taxi driver, he mentioned that usually fri always get traffic jam. Bt weekends nt so..

If I nt wrong we reach our hotel @ around 5 plus or even @ ltr timing.. We went to check in and the hotel staff was reali veri frenly n helpful. It’s a concidence tat he oso hav d same surname as us.. hehe.. After our checkout, we went to hav buffet at the hotel for our dinner.. Hm.. the food was so so only. Veri normal n nt reali tat nice la.. )= bt lucky still gt 虾婆 n other special stuff.. so after our dinner, we went over to parkson shpping mall wic is juz behind our hotel 2 buy sum stuff and tibits 2 muach..

Oh we oso drop by the tang yuan stall opp our hotel.. It’s simply delicious.. It’s nt too sweet n d taste juz nice.. gt 2 big tang yuan n a few small one.. d stall owner make it on d spot de wor..

Day 2

Tis dae we woke up veri early 2 hav breakfast – 云吞面.. Yum yum.. den we move on 2 start our journey 2 those heritage bldg..

I realized that there is quite a lot of temple n I believe one of d most famous shd b d snake temple. Bt we nv visit there as we nv pass by there n I oso veri scare of snake one.. =X

In the noon time, we settle our lunch @ 大东酒楼.. we actually wana try their dim sum de.. Bt it’s over le.. They gt sell dim sum @ different timing de wor.. hee..

so we order home cooked ju hua cha, sum zhu chao n d prawn thingy(4gt wat it is call) as recommend by the ppl there.. the tea was good n nt too sweet n I reali like d prawn thingy lots too.. hehe (= den after tat we went for sum chandol.. my my oyishi desu!!! Sori ar, din take photo cuz no place to sit n hav 2 stand to eat it.. Oya, the stall is located juz behind the大东酒楼. My dd says tat he cum across cum website tat this stall chandol is highly recommend.. after a while we went back all d way 2 our hotel 2 get sum sleep as we both abit tired after a dae of walk walk.. hee..

By time we wake up, it’s already 7pm and it’s raining heavily outside.. Tot of goin 2 d other shpping centre.. So we change our plan n go parkson shpping centre.. We had our dinner at Sushi king.. Almost all the staff there are muslim o.. I like their food oso.. here is wat we order:

Tell u ar, d caiwamushi is oso yum yum man. Initially wana order d normal type de, bt d staff there recommend another type wic has salmon flakes.. Wow d taste is juz nice!! Den after tat, we went to shp shp again.. Bt too bad, nt much of tings I can buy as i only buy one top..

Day 3

Tis mornin we wake up v early around 6am as our flight is around 9am.. So we wash up n hav our buffet breakfast @ d hotel again.. Tis time round i quite like d buffet cuz gt d more variety of food tat attract me.. Opps.. Den we pack our stuff n check out.. D hotel staff there was nice tat they assist us in flaggin dwn a taxi so tat we can get in a taxi immediately.. (= Thumbs up 4 their service!!!

I reali veri upset, disappointed n tis time round I gt hurt eventually by sum insider.. 2dae dun seem 2 b a gd dae 4 me or shd i say 4 everyone in my family side.. I dun noe wat to say or comment.. Cuz wat I say is doesn't gona change/erase certain ppl's comment on me abt tings tat aren't true, n can even make matters worse still.. I dun wish 2 say much or watsoever.. As long as I gt do my part, n conscience clear, I do not nd 2 bother abt wat other ppl say.. N I hate ppl who drag innocent party in sum matters when they din even do anyting wrong, or anyhw drag non-related matter to make dae even worse, or juz base on wat they c only 2 comment on stupid facts.. Pls if u dun even noe d whole story or dun Noe hw I am feelin, Pls shut up!

My one n only Aunt has left tis world tis morn.. I totally dun even hav d mood 2 do anyting esle.. Even @ wrk, i can't reali focus on my wrk.. N when my colleague n fren cum near me, i juz can't help n start crying..

I was watchin Ponyo on the cliff, he just nt into you n d proposal.. Omg!! all the shw was damn intesting.. Except for Ponyo tat d storyline is sumhw or rather like the mermaid.. We oso cum across sum interesting shp such as d art gallery wic was @ d top lvl n a bookshp wic was call prologue.. Bt Nvtheless, there is no lack of those branded shp wic sell those brand goods stuff, cosmetic etc..

Bt I still nt too satisfied with my current weight. Recently I went 2 weight myself, OMG I gain back 1 kg.. )= sob sob.. After my op, I lost 3kg bt nw gain back 1 kg again. It seems tat I always will gain wt when I back 2 wrkin life as normally if I gt no job, I wun eat 3 meals, nor will eat only two meals..

hm.. toking abt food, I last week getting hands on cooking my veri own style of cooking hokkien mee..

C?? nt 2 bad rite.. hee.. I juz fried sum garlic n shallot 1^st and den pt in lean meat n let it cook for abt 10 or 15 mins. And then pt in d veggie n lastly pt d noodle.. den lidat the noodle wun b too soggy or too soft.. I oso gt try fry sum fries.. hm 1^st time nt too bad n my bf oso enjoy eatin it.. hee..

hm.. I can't rem hw old i finally get to hav my own pet.. Mayb when i was studyin ITE?? Anyway, the pet I hav was a local hamster which was one of my 2nd sister ham ham children.. N since i like ham ham so she say let me hav a ham ham that was still baby as she mentioned tat lidat more easier 2 take care of.. My ham ham was a female btw n her name was vicki.. hehe.. I reali like tis ham ham of mine.. She was reali cute.. N when nite time i was free, i often play n saiyang her.. hehe.. Bt too bad after a yr plus, she left me to go heaven.. I rem once my 2nd sis cum back niang jia, she saw my ham ham was nt feelin well n sumting wrong w her, so she left a note on my rm door sayin tat she has taken my ham ham 2 c d vet n they will call me if anything happen.. Act before the period of time I alreadi n noe tat she gona leave me one day.. I cry n saiyang her lots.. N when d vet call me n say tat she passed away, my heart sinkened n i finally brust into tears.. At tat pt of time, i reali cannot accept d fact n even do nt hav d appetite..

Hm.. shall update tis blog of mine with a heartening experience from the bottom of my heart.. (=

Thou nw I am still experiencing a tough n hard time tat test my patience n find out more abt the area wic I nw weak in and nd 2 improve on it.. These few daes I oso cum across sum funny n idoit ppl.. Ppl who nv speak their mind w/o thinking carefully or doesn't make sense @ all.. Dun noe 2 laugh @ their wu zhi or be angry w them.. I can't help by takin their wrds 2 heart as they totally saying tings tat reali make no sense @ all.. Bt nevertheless, I nw oso on the track of making myself more prodential towards the way of sucess. I am gald tat I nw trying 2 takin tings nt tat hard bt yet let nature take it course. Last time I shdn't hav take it too hard bt rather shd treat it as a challenge to master my strength n increasin my lvl of confidence.. Since I am a little luckier den other ppl who are in more poor plight den me, I shall wrk further hard.. ^^ Last bt nt least tks 2 my frenz n my dd who are there 2 support n giv me reali sum gd, realistic n practical advise..

Well well, it's another cooking dae on last sat.. Yay!! lol
N tis time round cooked reali simple meal..

Simple macoroni soup for lunch

Ingredients:
1 Chicken thigh
half cup of mixed veggie
1 cup of macaroni
1/2 Onion(diced)
Seasoning:
1 Tablespoon of sesame oil
1 Tablespoon of 花雕酒
1 Tablespoon of Soya sauce
A pinch of salt and black pepper to taste

Method:

1. Cook a pot of water.
2. Add in chicken thigh while the water is still boiling.
3. Remove any brown bubbles and continue to cook for another 5 mins.
4. Add in Onion and cook till onion soften.
5. Add in macaroni and cook till soften.
6. Then add in the seasonings and mixed veggie and cook for about 1 min. Serve hot when it's ready.
   

Seaweed fried rice for dinner

Ingredients:
1/2 mixed veggie
1 hot dog(cut into slices)
1 bowl of cooked rice
1 beaten egg
Seaweed(according to your liking)
Seasoning:
1 Tablespoon of sesame oil
1 Tablespoon of Soya sauce
Pepper and A pinch of salt to taste

Method:

1. Heat sum oil in a wok.
2. Add in the hot dog and stir fry till lightly brown.
3. Add in the mixed veggie and the cooked rice.
4. Add in beaten egg and mix well with the mixture.
5. Add in the seasoning and stir fry till the rice is evenly color.
6. Add in seaweed and mix well and ready to be serve.
   

蛋包饭 for dinner as well

hm.. as for 蛋包饭,tis is my 1st time trying it out.. Nt too bad la.. Lol.. I juz merely beaten two eggs and den separate the egg mixture into two and cook separatly in a wok.. I search sum info abt hw to make it.. Hm.. roughly need abt four beaten egg and den when u cook d egg, wow, alot of skills is required wor.. Like wat is shown in the below video.. Hm.. Hope tat nx time i can slowly mastered d skills of preparing this dish.. hehe..

I notice that the latest trend u will gt to c during wedding dinner is tat u gt 2 c nt only the Groom n bride weddin photos, u oso get 2 c hw both of them look like during their childhood n growing up daes.. Hehe.. Like my fren Shu ping n his wife, they made their photo into video n share it w us.. As for my aunt daughter, they put a collection of photo outside the ballroom.. N they exchange rings n ask everyone 2 b the witness of them.. this is reali sumting speacial n new 2 me.. Hm.. mayb when my turn, i shall make video n design too..n den ask professional 2 help me edit.. lol

I wonder hw any of u hav felt angry for the tings tat ur parents or ur relative do or say 2 u?? Recently b'cuz of my relative daughter weddin, i was quite frustrated n angry.. As all the ting she do is reali digusted me lots.. Where gt own relative ask u 2 prepare d ang bao accordin to the d amt they wana u 2 pt in.. I hear liao le was reali dishearted.. n she call n even request everyone of us 2 appear for the weddin banquet.. in my heart i tink, so wat ur daughter n son-in-law is rich, doesn't mean tat u can held a expensive weddin banquet den u expect every1 2 pay u back the same amt wah.. nw is still in economic crisi leh.. U hav 2 tot of those who are nt earnin so much or hav a veri high income like ur daughter n son-in-law.. Anyway, Sumtimes I find it hard 2 understand the upper generation cuz alot of tings we n d other genernation tink in different way.. Sum like act as thou they are my own parents lidat.. Reali veri 38 one lo.. If they are nt my elder I shd giv them a piece of my mind man..
