My luv was craving for some buffet last sat. Initally wana try out the korea bbq at City Sq Mall but the review online was not that good. He managed to find a better one: Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ Buffet. We went to the Oriental Plaza outlet.
Think is best to make reservation before you come as when we both reach there, alot of people was already waiting outside. Total they have four outlet including this outlet. One more outlet which they did not stated on the banner as shown above is Tampines one.
Their BBQ cookery so way different from crystal jade. Oil wun spilt on to you while you cook compared to crystal jade whereby the oil can spatter over you.
They have some big screen TV. So you watch some nice korea star MV or concert video while you eat.

I luv the chicken sausages. Yummy! Slurp. So does the meat!! They are so juicy. It even goes well with letture while you wrapped them in it. You may put on mayonise, bbq sauce & salt/pepper/sesame oil sauce. So tasty man!
Some of the side dishes: (from left to right) Corn salad, korea pancake, spicy rice cake & stew soup. Out of these four, my favourite is the corn salad. So refreshing! Spicy rice cake was nice and I like the fish cake with it. So yummy! The stew soup was nice, it has onion and vegetable in it. Goes well to eat with rice. Ohya, their rice is same as drinks, free flow one!! Oh not to forget their pancake, is fragant and chewy.
I feel their sotong is tender and chewy too! So fresh! Their seaweed soup is a must to try too! If you are one who prefer non gassy drink, they also have some freshly pumped lime juice. It is a great companion after eating so much of bbq food.. Oh one more thing I must comment, all the utensils they use is what korean ppl will use in korea. It make you feel so korea wor. Think the cashier and the waiter who show us the way to our table is korean. The waiter so handsome wor.. Opps(tink my luv is gona jealous about my this comment. Wahaha=p)
