Opps I did it again. Long time din post some new post.. Was simply tired after a day's work too. (Well can say is excuse =p)

Anyway have been practising some cake recipe before I bake a actual b'dae cake for my luv.. In another words means test 'market' to see if he like the taste.. =)
Initally chose a lemon yoghurt butter cake recipe cuz I can add in some decoration but I change my mind to chocolate lemon yoghurt cake since both is same recipe.

The 1st attempt wasn't too successful mainly is b'cuz my tempurate wasn't high enuff and end up centre part of it still not really cooked. 2nd attempt I finally managed to capture the tempurate of it thus nicer cake texture =D
Before and after. This is the 1st attempt. 2nd attempt I did not put those lemon decoration as it will get burnt easily since I am using oven toaster to bake.

Added some chocolate frosting on the outer of the cake and m & m chocolates as decoration. I bake some of the cake batter in a loaf tin and 5 muffins liner.
On a sat which the weekend before his actual birthday, we initally want to go the Jpot but however the weekend price did not match my budget so switch to suki yaki house. Was disppointed with Jpot website as the set menu did not state clearly the price for lunch is only on weekdays.

They offer free flow of meat. I like the kim chi soup base the most. More to my liking of spiciness.. End up I just pay $40 for just two person.. So I feel still worth it but just that this outlet did not have any ice cream. We read online and if I not wrong there is a outlet at bugis which has ice cream..
Tadeh~ My b'dae boy. We both ate the whole cake. haha. I am gald he like it!
