I was waiting day and night once I heard that tim ho wan will be opening its 2nd outlet here at Toa Payoh. Wasn't too sure which part of toa payoh until when one day I walk past ERA centre(previously was entertainment centre). I was happy and finally wait till one day later after its offical opening which was on 8th of this month.
Have been sharing with my frenz when i got this news. Finally on one of my fren gathering to celebrate one of my fren b'dae, we decided the menu to be here. ^.^
The menu~
We total order 13 items and share among the 5 of us.
Rice with chicken sausage and mushroom. Taste was just nice.
Baked bun with BBQ Pork~
This is one of my fav and till now I still remember the taste. Once you bite into it, there is a sweet and fragant smell coming from it. Was pipping hot too. I love this lots. Is a must try dish!
Vermicelli roll: Top: with shrimp, bottom: with bbq pork.
I think more prefer the one with BBQ pork. The shrimp was not bad too la..
Clockwise: Beancurd spring roll with shrimp, prawn dumpling, pork dumpling with shrimp, beancurd spring roll with pork and shrimp and spring roll with egg white
I can say all very nice and the ingredients was fresh enough.
Pan Fried Carrot cake and steam egg cake.
The carrot cake wasn't too oily and the steam egg cake was frangant, soft and fluffy!
Tonic Medlar and Osmanthurs Cake
My fren suggested this as our dessert. Light and fragrant dessert I must say. At first I thought we might need to wait long to be seated since it was juz open to public recently, but we wait for less than half and hr. The service was good too! The staff there was very attentive and observant to see what we might need. The food was served fast as well.
I have like their facebook as well to keep myself updated with them.. Fren who haven try, please do try out at this outlet since their queue was not too long yet!! I will definatelycome back here for the Baked bun with bbq pork and try out other dishes too.
