Recent gatherings

Pri School frenz gathering - 31 Oct 13~ 

I suggested to have a mootaka since Carrie was craving for it. But unfortunately the mootaka which we try at Blk 1008a, Toa Payoh north wasn't that nice. A few of them even say the pinapple rice wasn't authentic enuff. So Alan suggested next time we shd go try the golden mile. More tasty. 

Celebration of Mei Zhen's B'dae - 1.11.13

B'dae gal suggested to go sentosa to try out the luge over there. So here we are. Morning was raining heavily  so we no choice got to wait awhile. So hence we go shopping around vivocity while waiting for the rain to stop. Till about noon time the rain has stop and we are ready to start the fun activities of the day~ ^^

Saw one of this small cute merlion when we arrived at the imbiah station. 

Happen that her b'dae falls on helo kitty b'dae as well, so I bot her these small cakes..

Alrite we both are ready to start our adventure at the luge. 

here we are taking the skyride back to the starting point.

We have to held on the handle of the luge througout the journey so our hands was kinda tiring. haha. But we both enjoyed ourselves. Next stop, we proceed to bugis+ as she want to shop for some cheap stuff at bugis st. 

But b4 that we have early dinner at seoul yummy. We ordered and shared army stew. My 1st time tryin out.  Very much to my liking. Nx time shall try to cook tis at home.

Last stop of the dae: black ball dessert.

Ordered their signature black ball dessert. Have been curious to try it out after seeing ppl and some of my fren trying and their review was that the dessert are nice. However the red bean was abit too sweet so we both feel thristy after that. I will definately try out other dessert on next visit.

Oh yeah, I bot this dress at kissjane, vivo city outlet. Finally gotten something from this shp. This shop as wat Mei Zhen say reali do have alot of dress that suit my style. hehe

Dining at Tim Ho Wan - 2.11.13

Meet up with my dearie fren, Iris and at the same time just in time to pass her the gift which was meant for her b'dae. Hope she like it!

We ordered these, plus congee for her, prawn dumpling and of cuz my fav char siew bao!! Clockwise: wasabi salad prawn dumpling, mango pomelo sago, fried noodle with bbq pork & soya sauce and spinach dumpling with shrimp.

Sad to say that only the noodles was not up to expectation as the noodles was abit hard and charred. The wasabi for the wasabi salad prawn dumpling surprisly wasn't too spicy at all. So after eating one, I feel like helping myself with a second serving which I did. =p The spinach dumpling goes well with shrimp as well. The prawn for both dumpling is fresh enuff. The dessert taste was just nice, not too sweet either. Texture was quite smooth too!

After our lunchie, we decided to relax and take some nice picture over at Toa Payoh Town Park. I look through all the picture, it was as thou we are taking wedding pictures. All the picture was pretty cool and nice! Tks to the app called wonder cam.
