Cafes in Toa Payoh area Part 1 - Les Patisseries, The Daily Press and Creamier

Helo there! This blog was again on hiatus for a long time due to I am recently busy with hse renovation matters and also researching on my honeymoon trip. So I decided to post some food review again. Toa Payoh recently has quite a few cafe so today, I gona post three of them first. There will be a few mores in another part of my cafe review so do stay tune..

Les Patisseries

Well, you know what? This picture was taken about 5 months plus back when I visited this cafe with my husband. =P Anyway back to the point, this was my first time eating a macoron. Their strawberry smoothie was nice, smooth texture with rich frangant smell and so do the mocha. Their waffle was soft yet not to soggy kinda texture. Just nice. However I find the macoron rather too sweet for me..

The Daily Press

One day, I meet up with one of my fren who likes to cafe hopping. We decided to try this cafe.. We each order ABC sandwich, mocha drink for myself and we share the apple crumble cake with vanilla ice cream on top..

If you were wondering why the sandwich is call ABC sandwich, cuz a stand for apple, B for bacon and c for cheese. With the crunchiness and sweet taste from the apples,  savoury taste from bacon and cheesy taste from cheese. To me is a very prefect match, cuz I am a bacon and cheese lover.

The crumble cake was served to us warm enuff that I could see a little smoke coming out from it. The ice cream just make it even more prefect..

Creamier

This cafe is way so near to the daily press as you just have to wait straight to the other side.

So we order three scoops of ice cream which are mango ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, strawberry sorbert. We din finish the whole waffle as we were too full. But the waffle was nice and has a little crispy texture. Among the three flavour we choose, I feel the strawberry sorbert was the most refreshing flavour. I wana come back to this place again to try out other flavours of their ice cream. hehehe While I typing out this post, I actually missing their ice cream!!!
