Penang Georgetown (18th - 21th Nov 2019) - Part I

Since husband have some leave to clear, so we decided to go for some short trip.. 

Did some research on Bali and georgetown and end up he more prefer go penang since we are more familar of how the traffic is like over there.. 

1st dae 

Since we so far not yet try airasia service before, so this time round tried. It was stable and good. We took about 1 hour and 15mins to reach to penang international airport. 

Oh I need to mention something unpleasant we encounter when board on the plane.. There is a guy, his child and their backbag was sitting on our seat. Even though he realised he took our seat but he did not even apologise. Makes me wonder what wrong with people nowadays.. Inbetween his whole family change seat to infront.. 

Simple video tour of our hotel.. We stay in sunway hotel. It is highly recommend by trip adviser.

Nite view.. 

We went to the new lane hawker area which is very near hotel. When we queuing for food, it suddenly started to rain heavenly and we have to quickly find nearby seat n eat.. But we are abt 50% -70% wet.. Lol.. 

We had char kuay teow with duck egg for dinner. But I cannot taste the difference between normal chicken egg n duck egg.. But their char kuay teow was not so heavily taste like our local ones. 

2nd dae - Penang Hill

After breakfast at the suncafe at the hotel lobby, we decided to head out to the destination of the day - Penang hill..

This is the train ticket(2 way : Rm30)

This is how the penang hill train look like.. We waited about half an hr for the train to arrive.. Took about 3mins train journey to reach to the top..

As the weather was quite hot, so we decided to have some shaved mango ice.. The mango taste good and it comes with strawberry, ice cream and some jelles..

At nite we went to near by bak gu teh shop but not really nice so not going to talk about it. After dinner it was raining heavily again. So we take away some food from the new lane stalls..

Is carrot cake..

Their carrot cake is nice not so heavy taste and generous portion of prawns added..  Their version have some beanspourt which you will not find in sg local hawker centres..
