As usual we went for our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. This time round they have some pandan waffle. Yums😋They also have some small cakes like chocolate mini cupcakes. As I have alot the previous day so never took any on this day. Most of the food item almost the same like the first breakfast we had. Only slight different on menu like char kway teow and fried rice..
Our 1st stop : Old Town White Coffee at Heritage Centre
We went to the heritage gallery to explore around first before getting some bites & drinks in their cafe..
Never knew that there are total 3 different types of coffee beans, the ones I knew was robustas and arabica.(the ones we had in Singapore is arabica)
They also do sell instant noodles in their retail shop too. Funny thing is there is no people tending inside.😅
They also have coffee packed in boxes. This type of packaging we will never get to see in Singapore as well.
Cost: - white coffee: RM26.00, coffee jelly in oatmilk with honey: RM26.00
The dessert was not bad just that the jelly I cannot taste the coffee smell at all..
2nd Stop : Concubine Lane
This lane was more lively. More shop are located here. Some shop sells snacks, earrings and other jewelry.
3rd Stop : drinks and dessert at Restoran Thean Chun
Here we order another cold white coffee as my husband saw that the rest of the customer was order same drink too. 😂 The egg custard was good.👍(Don't ask me how much cuz husband paid de😛) Think they are also famous for their 小鸡饼, we did not buy any though as husband find the taste pretty normal(the staff there pass us some sample to try)
This lane was rather quiet though. Nothing much just that there are a few wall paintings(abit similar in penang)
We headed back to our hotel via grab before going for a karaoke session at the Kbox Karaoke (located at Ipoh Parade). Very limited song selection, and all is old song. Don't expect new song. We sing for 3 hrs(RM24/Pax) comes with free drink and we order chicken nugget : RM10.00. Strange the staff told us the sides are free, chey cheat our money.
Dinner we had at Sushi King. Husband ordered nabeyaki udon while I had the ramen. As per photo the broth super salty. Gosh.
Since they have chagae and I never try before so why not right? Left : da hong pao milk tea(mine, RM14.90) & right : white peach oolong milk tea(husband; RM13.90). The peach tea very refreshing and whereas for mine the milk does not overpower nor cover the taste of the tea. We also got a cooler bag when we take out, foc somemore.. 😁
