The new normal

About six months plus, I had left this blog empty without any updates.. Ever since the covid kicks in, each of us have to adapt to new things.

Having virtual meetings, work from home or attend virtual courses..

Before the mandatory of mask implemented, I see some people does not treat this whole virus matter seriously.

It was only when this measure made compulsory, people than start to wear mask. Of course at the starting we not used to it as is not a common practice here especially we are not healthcare professionals. I ever step out of my house and forget to wear too..

Talking about work from home, one benefits is that one do not have to travel to office thus save up transport cost. Another benefit is that can wake up abit later as less preparation time is needed. Inconvenience is when meeting, no noise disturbance is allow. That also includes no passerby in the background for the case of virtual meetings. Some friends I heard that they still need to go back to office to do some filing and access to office equipment in order to complete their work.

As for virtual class, I find is an enjoyable learning journey. Can say is a disguise in blessing. Why do I say that? As I have a interest in purchasing field and hope to discover this area by upskill myself in related course. Those institute specialise in this field are too far away from my place of residence. But thanks to covid, virtual class are made available. I am able to meet with different people from different background, industry, culture etc. A chance to have small group discussion and direct approach to the lecturer/professor when you have any question you have in mind.

Dinning wise not much of difference to me just that fewer surrounding. I not a person who like to spent in restaurant this kind of place. So i find still adaptable for me.
