Belated 6 yrs anni celebration at Lenas at Nex

Went to nex outlet to celebrate belated anni w my luv. In case you don't know, lenas is under Ministry of Food. After much consideration upon looking at the menu, we decided to chose a hotpot set which also consist the soup of the day, rice & soup of the day.

3rd DIY nails art

Have been wanting to do a vintage nails after I saw Bubzbeauty video on her vintage nail tutorial. I feel is kinda lovely and femaine. So decided to try it last week.

Here is are the colors I chosen for my vintage nails: -

Silky gal nail polish: light pink and darker pink, the face shop blue & green color and white nail dot pen.

You will also need:

some toothpick and cotton buds

Paradise Inn

A few weeks ago, I went with Puay San to have dinner at Paradise Inn b4 we making our way to this yr Ang    Bao River.

We order pork belly bun, coffee flavour pork ribs, mini wok tofu with pork floss, stir fry pork with vegetables and some dessert.

Pork Belly with some buns: surprisely I tot this dish will taste veri oily and I think the restuarant handle this dish veri well.  I dun find this dish too oily and is veri appetizing.

Coffee flavoured pork ribs: Among all the dishes we ordered: I prefer this dish the most. Probably b'cuz  coffee is one of my favourite beverage tat y I like this dish lots. For those who hate eating pork ribs with bones, rest assured that you will definately like this dish alot. While chewing on it, I do  not have any difficulies as I can't find any bones with it and is very meaty. Meat lovers will sure luv tis tis dish.

DIY nails again~

Remember my last post which I mentioned abt my ribbon DIY nail art? So here it is.

Here's what you need:

1. Few scotch tapes
2. White, silver and black nail pen
3. White colour nail polish

A) Firstly, I cut the scotch tapes into thin pieces and lay them out as shown in the above picture.

B) I place the scotch tape over my finger just like the above.

C) I apply the white color/ back colour nail polish on alternate nails. (Note: this will be part which will be the same color as your ribbon color)

D) Next, I remove the scotch tape and apply the other colors onto the painted portion of my nails.

E) Next by using a nail pen, I draw a ribbon which is different color from the bottom color of my nails.

F) Lastly in the centre of the ribbon, I use the silver color nail pen to draw a circle.

Is easy isn't? By the way I got this idea from the below video by bubzbeauty.

Chinese New Year 2013 happenings

(Beware: long post=P)

Before CNY~

This year I can say I got abit of luck. Hehe I won the below from my company lucky draw. Reali tks to my company's supplier who send us a hamper.

My boss also bot us the yu yan sheng's lucky drawvoucher but I think we dun reali have the chance to win the ipad mini cuz so many people are taking part in the lucky draw voucher. He also bot some more can of abalone and pan cai for the following day lucky draw. 

New Taiwan Stall at Tampines

Thank godness my bf is staying at tampines and his mum told him that his hse nearby got this newly open taiwan stall: Liu He Taiwan Night Market Snacks. I was so keen in trying it as I am a lover for taiwan snacks and food!! =p

We had this mee sua but is not those traddtional oyster mee sua. Is chicken mee sua. Heard from my bf tat tis stall change most of the recipe to more singapore style. This bowl of mee sua was indeed more towards singaporean taste as it was spicy enough. The chicken quite well done.

Lao Ban Dou Hua

For those who like to eat soya beancurd, you sure have heard of the above. It has a stall at the old airport rd hawker centre. The first time I try, I immediately luv the smooth texture of the soya beancurd. I feel as though I am in heaven. LOL. But if you are late to reach the hawker centre especially at night, you wun't be able to get even just one as they are really hot sellers over there. But fret not, they have open a small stall just near to the tampines mrt, even late at night around 9pm, you still would be able to get one as they don't close early. I really envy those who stay at tampines.

Some weeks ago, I went to tampines again and was surprised that they have sell another flavour which is the almond flavour( as shown in the photo with the red colour cover). Almond flavour taste so nice and smell fragant. Slurp=p  I think i more prefer almond flavour. Hehe~

1st blog post for Year 2013

Aha after some time, this shall be my first post for this year =p

A summary of last yr...

Good tings:-

I was so excited to being invited by HDB to book a unit of my future hse and signed the lease of agreement. I have nv tot there is so much to take note about. Although this flat location is not the one which me n my luv was targeting at initially, but I am so gald we are goin to have a little space of our own. (=

Career wise seems like things are getting beta per year, more improvement in my wrk and compliment from colleague and boss. Get very seldom nag by boss and know how to handle things in mature and professional way.

Bad things:-

Had been like sort of roller coaster mood during certain months. I just realised certain people aren't worth your time on them. You have been nice to them, being there for them but yet what they give you is invisible hurt. But I am gald that once I get myself out of the hard time, over time I have been tougher than ever. No longer the gal who is so weak and veri easily bully with. This shws that no one can easily take advantage of me.

I believe this year will be beta year den last year!! ^~

Last fri I take leave with my bf to enjoy lunch buffet at this resturant which is located at The central(Clarke Quay).

Differences between Malaysia and Singapore wedding banquet

Past two weeks ago, I went with my group of fren to attend our fren wedding lunch banquet at Malaysia, Segamat. It took us about 4 hours to reach there as we travel there by coach(pre-arrange by my fren).

Was quite reali veri slpy cuz woke up at 5am to get ready etc and meet a few of them to have breakfast before making our way to queen st bus terminal to board the coach.

My fren wedding lunch start only 1.30pm but since we reach there about nearly to 12pm, we went to nearby shopping centre(see picture above). Hmm. Actually nothing much.. =p

My 2nd attempt of Paper Bag Album(B'dae gift to Iris)

Aha my 2nd attempt of making paper bag album. This time round is for my dearie fren, Iris. I am so gald that so she likes it alot(=

For this album, I chose many flower related fancy paper cuz she is a nature lover too juz like me.. hehe

I oso bot some laces and ribbon to decorate this ablum~

I so gald that my art and craft skills has improved alot while making this album. I even use double side tape to stick the photos to the papers, is more secure then guling the photo on the paper.

Perhaps next time I shall make one for myself too!! (;

Whampoa Famous Bian Mian Stall

Seriously, I never had food that make me so addicted and wana eat the same food for serveral. Currently my workplace is located to the whampoa food centre. There quite a couple of famous which have been advertised on tv before. So today let's talk about one of the stall which I like the most.

I have tried both soup and dried verison of their noodles. Below are my review for both version.

Itacho Sushi

Had tis last thurday w birthday gal meizhen since she want try out this.. Hehe

The foods which we ordered. 

Starting from 1st row(left to rite): Cheese shrimp sushi,eel & grilled pork sushi; soft shell crab handroll sushi,  scallops with fried tofu, salmon, octopus, scallop sushi and lastly crab salad...

I would definately recommend  the grilled pork sushi & crab salad. The pork sushi is so juicy and taste just right as the crab salad is yummy, zuccui is super fresh and crunchy. Goes damn well with the fish roe too. Next time round I shall try make one. We are seated near the sushi bar so we can clearly see how the chef make the sushi. Once ready they will pass it to you directly, is like so frenly the people over there. ^^  It's a rare kinda experience. Price veri reasonable so end up each of us paid about $20++.

So fren do check it out!! Btw this outlet we went to is at Bugis Junction.

A day @ Punggol Waterway Park

I have been yearning to go to this park ever since I know tis park via Channel 8 Zao An Ni Hao shw. Looks so pretty and lovely park to relax oneself. Have bn pestering my luv to bring me here, So finally got chance to be here on last friday..Uhoo~

Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ Buffet

My luv was craving for some buffet last sat. Initally wana try out the korea bbq at City Sq Mall but the review online was not that good. He managed to find a better one:  Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ Buffet. We went to the Oriental Plaza outlet.

Think is best to make reservation before you come as when we both reach there, alot of people was already waiting outside. Total they have four outlet including this outlet. One more outlet which they did not stated on the banner as shown above is Tampines one.

A date with my dearie fren

Hmm.. can't remember exactly how long I din meet up with my dearie fren le.. But I am so gald to meet up again. She was clueless of where we shd gather. Hence I recommend Old School Delight. Yes my second time again. Hehe=D

My Bra Bag Organizer

Was randomly surfing qoo1o(previously known as gmarket), and I chanced upon the bra bag organizer. N I think i need it cuz the space whereby i put all my bras is kinda unsightly. So I just order from one of the seller after reading their buyer review on them.

I initially wana order button clip on type but this seller seems to have out of stock for this type of design so I order normal one with zips. To my surprise, it reach me quite fast. Shipment supposed to be estimated yesterday but when I reach home today it was at my house already. ^.^

Not only I can put around 5 bras inside, I can even put in some of my panties as well. This bag will comes in handy if some day I go for travelling again.
